Justice Call director, Khaled Imam facilitated two workshops for the students of the Global University on the ship. The Global University is one of the projects carried out by the Peace Boat and focuses mainly on the SDGs. The workshop included an introduction to the SDGs, in particular SDG 16, including its specific targets as well as other targets related to it, and the follow-up and review process on SDG 16 at the High-Level Political Forum next July. As part of the workshop, we formed working groups that discussed the role of networking and building partnerships among youth groups to support the implementation of SDG 16. This workshop dealt mainly with a summary of the Progress Study on Youth, Peace and Security – The Missing Peace with a focus on the Middle East.
